After the success of last year's Corp Dinner we will be holding it again this year. It's a great evening, combining a mix of the formal and informal. We observe all the usual traditions of toasts, Beat Retreat (new this year) , citation (s) and speeches while wearing our RMA GS golf shirts and serving ourselves from the hotplate.  

Update 30 October

The weekend is almost upon us and we are set fair for a great weekend of golf and merriment. The courses and bar await us, and the weather appears 'favourable' - albeit this is Okehampton!
A few reminders:

• Please bring some cash for the prizes and for a tip for the staff - £10 for Ian for the cash prizes and few quid (coins) so we can buy the staff a wet  - who always look after us.
• Dress for dinner is very relaxed  - just RMA GS shirts if you have one (any polo otherwise) and if it's blue so much the better. Chino style strides will work but not mandatory
• Courses will likely be wet so waterproof footwear and 'warmers kit' would be sensible.
• The running order for the evening is attached and on the website
• There is space for late-comers if anyone wants to join us let me know ASP

Costs

The cost is £99 for twin sharing or £125 single room which includes both rounds/buggy/DBB.  The Corps Dinner is also included in the price. 

The Venue 

If you have never played at Ashbury you should be aware that it is vast.  It has 103 holes, is one of the UK’s largest golf resorts and the 9th largest in the world. Given the size of the place buggies are a must and our price includes buggy hire for two days. The rooms are clean and basic and the public rooms were refurbished apx 18 months ago. 

Corps Dinner

If you have been confirmed as an attendee (by email) please pay now - the BACS details are in the email. If you are a 'late entry' please do not pay until your place is confirmed (we will email you) at which time payment details will be given to you.
