Last year some of us made a night of it at Holsworthy and we're up for it again this year. The plan is below.

Dartmouth Opener Weekend 18-19 March 23

Overview

The 2023 season opener weekend will be hosted at Dartmouth. Wives/Partners are most welcome and costs for non-players are as for players. No players receive a free Spa treatment which should be booked in advance with the venue.

Costs to include DB&B and two rounds

£131 per person based on two people sharing.

RMA GS - "It's all about playing golf with your oppos "

The Royal Marines Association Golf Society (RMA GS) is a specialist sports branch of the Royal Marines Association - The Royal Marines Charity (RMA-TRMC). The RMA GS exists for its members and guests to enjoy golf. Our rules are minimal (see RMAGS Charter) and our approach is totally informal, it's all about playing golf with your 'oppos' whilst discussing how good we used to be!

We meet around 10 times per year between March and November and the season is bookended by weekends. Most of our events are self-financing therefore there is an event cost payable on the day (Event costs are shown here) . Our home course is Tiverton and we mainly play courses in Devon. We do 'spread our wings' occasionally and we're always open to new ideas. Our members are predominantly former Royal Marines, we also have 'non-RM' members and we guests are welcome. We are organised by a small committee and joining RMA GS is simple - just use the button below. As a charity we do not charge a subscription, however we do ask our members to make a donation to the RMC of an amount they can afford.
